This Giving Tuesday, December 3, help our OROT students participate more productively in their classroom “occupations.” Give the gift of O.T. time!
This summer, OROT was fortunate to receive a generous grant enabling us to hire an Occupational Therapist who is visiting each of our partner schools on a monthly basis.
She is working one-on-one with students in need of her services. Additionally, children are participating in group activities, and she is providing teachers with strategies that can be incorporated into daily classroom routines in order to benefit all of our students.
This program has been received with overwhelming enthusiasm by students, teachers and parents. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage our generous community to make additional O.T. time available to the students in our OROT classrooms. One hour of Occupational Therapy time is $125, but any donation helps and is greatly appreciated.
We are filled with gratitude this Thanksgiving holiday; for our students, our teachers, our families and our very supportive community.
